I used Retin-A and I got more pimples and ugly scarring… I hate that cream… the scars look terrible in my face… now I using lemon juice n 100% virgin olive oil as an astringent and is helping me a lot!

Retin A, AKA “Accutane” I went on this for one full year for severe acne after trying everything. It was very difficult in the beginning, you basically shed off the skin layer of your face, to reveal new skin as she is explaining in this video. The side effects are hardcore, but it works, and is the best thing ive ever done for myself.i still have scarring on my cheek area, and will have FRAXEL treatments once i can afford them.

Mederma does not work. Mederma is a onion-extract based gel which the company claims reduces the scar appearance. Rubbing onion juice on your face is a ridicolous as it sounds.Bio Oil is another product with false promises. If these over the counter stuff worked than dermatologist wouldnt be doing microdermabrasions or scar laser removal on people now would they? To remove scars you have to peel back the damaged scar tissue for new healthy skin to grow- like with a THA Chemical peel.
